Britain's Got Talent fans are speculating about The Witch's identity after a shocking prank pulled on Saturday night's episode.

The latest instalment of the ITV competition showed The Witch pull a stomach-turning trick on BGT judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.

Viewers logged onto Twitter to share their takes on the creepy stunt, with many taking guesses at who could be under the prosthetics and makeup, the Mirror reported.

The Witch took to the stage only to scare the lights out of the group.First, they handed out apples from a sinister sack to David, Alesha and finally Amanda while reciting a creepy chant.Amanda had a pristine apple in her hand, which The Witch then crushed up to reveal creepy crawly maggots and cockroaches that scattered the judge's desk.Alesha jumped out of her seat and fled the judging panel in fright after the explosion of insects, saying she would not return until they had been cleared.
