Simon Phillip Cowell (born 7 October 1959) is an English television personality, businessman and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition series Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor (2004–2010, 2014–present) and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), and the American television talent competition series American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Simon Cowell has opened up about how bad his horror e-bike crash really was two years ago and how he now has long-term nerve damage.

The music mogul and Britain's Got Talent head judge crashed his bike in Malibu, California, breaking his back - and has confessed it was "much worse" than what people thought at the time.

Simon, 62, also admitted that he doesn't really talk about it and "kept a lot back" from the public. He also recalled a time when he was at a funfair with his son Eric, eight, and though he thought he was healed when he tried to kick a football it was "agony".Speaking to OK!

magazine, Simon said: "It's been a long haul but I'm almost healed and I'm being very careful about what I do."But at least now I can actually play football with Eric.
