Celtic fans have put on a touching Hampden display in honour of Lisbon Lion Bertie Auld. The Parkhead legend passed away aged 83 last Sunday and supporters organised a tribute to him ahead of the Premier Sports Cup semi-final against St Johnstone.
Fan group the Green Brigade co-ordinated the display, which emblazoned Auld's name across the stand at the national stadium.A statement from the group ahead of kick-off said: "Bertie once quipped 'we thought Hampden Park was a our training ground, we played there that often'.
As fans return to Hampden for the first time in two years, Bertie will be at the forefront of our thoughts." And the display ensured Auld, a larger than life character, took over the national stadium one last time as Celtic
