More than 70,000 shoppers rushed to Aldi’s online store to get their hands on the popular Kevin the Carrot toy today. The supermarket giant was forced to launch a queuing system on their website as tens of thousands caused an online festive rush this morning.
Shoppers were also spotted queuing at stores across the UK to get their hands on the much sought-after toy vegetable, reports Birmingham Live.
Some customers waited for hours, with some queuing up as early as 4am this morning.The vast majority of Aldi stores opened at 8pm.Scots also had the chance to get their hands on Banana Scrooge, Katie the Carrot and Marcus Radishford - with all the toys costing £3.99 each.A kilted version of Kevin the Carrot was also up for grabs from this
