Names from across Scottish football have paid tribute to Bertie Auld as the Celtic icon was laid to rest today.The former midfielder passed away at the age of 83 earlier this month and tributes have flooded in since his passing.Strathaven-born Auld's funeral was held earlier today at St Mary’s, Calton, and the funeral cortège made its way past Celtic Park afterwards.The service was broadcast on big screens at Parkhead.Auld is famed for his crucial role in Celtic's 1967 European Cup winning side and he also had stints as a manager at Hibs, Partick Thistle, Hamilton and Dumbarton.Thistle will hold their own tribute for Auld at this evening's Scottish Cup third round match against Dunfermline.
