Swatch has extended its Museum Journey with a new series of watches made in partnership with New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).With the aim of bringing art to the wrist, six new timepieces will be released on 4 March featuring work from MoMA’s permanent collection, including Vincent van Gogh’s The Starry Night (1889), Gustav Klimt’s Hope, II (1907-1908), Henri Rousseau’s The Dream (1910) by, Piet Mondrian’s Composition in Oval with Color Planes 1 (1914), and both The City and Design, The Wonders of Life on Earth (1966) and New York (1968) by Tadanori Yokoo (the latter composition celebrating the home of MoMA.Since Swatch was founded in 1983, art has been at its core and there have been collaborations with international artists and.
