Last month, Boris Johnson announced the news that many non-essential retailers will be able to reopen their doors to shoppers on June 15.
Following the announcement, shoppers rushed to social media to ask Argos if it would be one of the retailers reopening on that date - but Argos has remained tight-lipped.
Now Argos has revealed that it wants to reopen 140 of its stores as part of a test phase on June 15. Argos stores had previously been operating on a limited basis, with only those inside Sainsbury's branches open to the public for click and collect items.
To make sure stores can follow social distancing guidelines properly, and that staff and customers are kept safe, 140 stores will originally open.
