AMC Networks joined the ranks of media companies showing that TV advertising has mounted a significant recovery from the devastation of Covid-19 a year ago.The company reported total revenue of $771.4 million in the second quarter ended June 30, up 19% from the same period of 2020.
Adjusted, diluted earnings per share came in at $3.45, up 44%. Both the top and bottom line easily beat Wall Street forecasts.As the company previously disclosed, it entered into a settlement agreement with producer-director Frank Darabont and CAA over profits from The Walking Dead.
