Alan Carr was one of the guests on the first ever episode of Joe Lycett's new show Late Night Lycett, where the two comedians were seen in a sketch that left fans "crying with laughter." Alan, 46, was joined by Dame Joanna Lumley, Katherine Ryan and Alison Hammond as the first guests of the new Channel 4 comedy show Late Night Lycett, which is hosted by Joe.
One of the segments included a live sketch between Alan and Joe, which saw the two comedians in a sketch called "Richard Yewtree Straight Talking" where they got into the roles of two TV anchors who talked about current affairs.
Alan Carr was made to “ruin his career” by reading a ready made script that had been prepared for his character to say. Having just spoken about King Charles' state visit to Germany, Joe brought up the topic of immigration.
Introducing the topic by mentioning new governmental plans, Alan can be heard saying "no, no no" with a nervous smile on his face as he does not know what to expect.
