Zach Braff Joins Gabrielle Union for 'Cheaper by the Dozen' Remake

Zach Braff has closed a deal to star with Gabrielle Union in Cheaper by the Dozen, the reimagining of the hit 2003 comedy being developed for Disney+.

Black-ish creator Kenya Barris co-wrote the script and is producing the project which will be directed by Gail Lerner. Lerner worked with Barris on Black-ish as a writer-executive producer and director.

The story centers on a multiracial, blended family of 12, navigating a hectic home life while managing their family business.

Braff will play the father opposite Union as the mother. Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt starred in the 2003 movie directed by Shawn Levy and the sequel helmed by Adam Shankman.
