Everton defender Yerry Mina will miss the start of the Premier League restart after picking up a thigh tear in training on Friday.
The Colombia international is now expected to be sidelined for several weeks and therefore will not be available for the club’s return to action.
The Premier League is set to commence on June 17, with the Toffees due to play rivals Liverpool in their first game back. Ex-Barcelona centre-half Mina has established himself as a regular in the current campaign after having injury problems in his first term at Goodison Park.
