A devastated family has paid tribute to a "wonderful" elderly couple who died being swept away in a river. Grandparents John Lillistone, 83, and Patricia Lillistone, 82, were found dead two weeks after horrified witnesses saw their car being carried away down the River Trent.
The pair's vehicle had entered the water at Hoveringham in Nottinghamshire on the evening of Monday, February 1. Following a fortnight-long search by police, their bodies were recovered from the river on Saturday.
