Piers Morgan has admitted being overcome with emotion as he watched a tribute to late cricket star Shane Warne. The popular journalist took to Twitter to open up about his feelings after he viewed a documentary that paid tribute to Shane's life and career that aired on Sunday (March 6).The Australian sports icon's death shocked sports fans when he passed away suddenly from a suspected heart attack on March 5 at the age of 52.Sharing a clip of the programme on his social media account Piers, 56, wrote: "Felt quite choked up watching Sky’s tribute repeat of their brilliant Shane Warne doc ‘Warne In A Million’ then I got to this bit and laughed out loud.

He was so right."The footage shared by Piers shows Shane saying: "In this day and age you’ve just got to be a little bit careful but sometimes, just say get stuffed to the fun police."Piers was among the first celebrities to pay tribute to Shane when news of his death broke on Friday.He wrote: "Absolutely devastated to hear that ⁦@ShaneWarne⁩ has died from a heart attack aged just 52."He was a genius cricketer, a supreme entertainer, a fantastic bloke and a great loyal friend for many years.
