Footage and images have surfaced from the hospital showing Mrs al-Zubaidi covered in bandages, and with severe burns to her face.
Her family revealed she sadly passed away a week after being admitted to hospital. Local media reports say her sister, who has not been named, confirmed Mrs al-Zubaidi died after her kidneys and lungs stopped functioning following her horrifying injuries.
