Armed police 'call in battering ram' and close off roads as 'man held hostage'

dailystar.co.ukArmed police have called in for a battering ram as they deal with a reported hostage situation in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire.
The High Street, Alexandra Road and Grant Street were blocked off by Humberside Police vehicles, which surrounded a home near the Swashbuckle pub.
Officers reported shouted at a man in a window of the home – telling him to come down. There are numerous Humberside Police officers in the area and a police dog was also spotted.
Several armed police could also be seen surrounding the home and parked their vehicles nearby. Witnesses nearby said that officers had been seen with a “battering ram” and that armed officers were now stood in the middle of the road.
