Video shared on social media shows the moment the 18-year-old was hit. In the video, a police officer is seen nearing the teen before swinging his fist at her and apparently making contact with her face.
Other footage shows her aggressively confronting police officers at the protest. Boyd was recording an argument she had with a cop when he allegedly hit her, ABC7 reported. "My tooth was knocked out," she told the outlet. "I have lip abrasions in my mouth.
