Royal Family gathered for the annual Commonwealth Service today (March 14) with some very noticeable absentees.The Queen pulled out of the royal engagement last week after her ongoing health battles.But in a message ahead of the gathering at Westminster Abbey, she dedicated her life to service in a hint that she has no imminent plans to step down.
Her grandson Prince Harry and granddaughter-in-law Meghan Markle were also absent having decided against traveling from their new home in the US.
It was a different story in the service in 2020, though, which turned out to be the Sussex's final appearance as working members of the Royal Family.
Amid rumors of rifts at the time within the Firm, a professional lip reader noticed a rather telling exchange between Prince William and Kate Middleton.
