Jackson Hastings will miss Friday's game with Huddersfield Giants after Wigan failed to overturn his ban. The former Man Of Steel has received a one-match 'Other Contrary Behaviour' charge, after pulling at Josh Jones' collar while he was down injured.
Hastings inadvertently elbowed Jones, which saw him hold his face and go down. After playing the ball, Hastings went towards his former Salford Red Devils teammate and pulled on his shirt.
The referee subsequently stopped the play as Jones required treatment. Hastings has now been found guilty of the charge, which brings with it a one-match suspension.
