Adrian Lam has lamented the speed of modern-day rugby league, insisting the game is slowing down rather than speeding up and teams are taking advantage of persistent stoppages in the sport.
Wigan will be without Jackson Hastings for Friday's trip to Huddersfield after he was charged with making contact with Josh Jones as he appeared to be injured following a collision in Sunday's game at the DW Stadium.
The Warriors appealed Hastings' one-match ban and failed, with admitting he still didn't think the decision was fair. However, Lam then said he is growing increasingly frustrated with the speed of the game and how clubs appear to be manipulating stoppages to slow the game down.
