In the nearly three weeks since George Floyd's death in Minneapolis the spotlight has been on Black Lives Matter in a way it has never been before.
George, a black man, died while having his neck crushed under the knee of a white police officer as he pleaded "I can't breathe".
The harrowing incident, caught on film, sparked protests and demonstrations around the world - including the UK where ever since the spotlight has been on its colonial history and the toll this has taken on its ethnic minority citizens.
Statues of slavers have been taken down in Bristol and east London, while Winston Churchill's statue outside parliament was graffitied at the weekend by furious protesters highlighting his racist views.
