Tyson Fury has called on Boris Johnson to protect the statue of Sir Winston Churchill after it was boxed off over fears it will be targeted this weekend.
The statue, which sits in Parliament Square in London, was graffitied during an anti-racist protest last week. And ahead of an expected Black Lives Matter march today, the monument, along with others in the capital, has been boarded up.
Fury, who has regularly spoken out about being the subject of racism owing to him being a Traveller, took to social media to hail Churchill's achievements during the Second World War.
