A town has been hit by its third earthquake in two weeks as part of a potential 'swarm' of tremors. This morning's 3.0-magnitude quake in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, sparked a flurry of questions from concerned residents about the cause of the town's quakes.
One asked the British Geological Survey if fracking was responsible for the seismic activity. However, experts denied this and instead proposed the tremors could be aftershocks from the first 3.5-magnitude quake on September 8.
