North Ayrshire Council has confirmed that there will be no changes to bin collections on the mainland and Cumbrae this festive season.That’s because both the Christmas and New Year public holidays fall over a weekend.Household Waste Recycling Centres will be open as normal, with the exception of two brief closure periods on: Saturday, December 25 to Tuesday 28 December; and from Saturday, January 1 to Tuesday, January 4.The recycling centres will close at 3pm on Friday, December 24 and Friday, December 31.Special uplifts will stop on Friday, December 17 and recommence on Monday, January 10.Despite there being no planned changes to household and commercial bin collection services on the mainland and Cumbrae, the council is advising residents
