Drivers making the journey to see friends and family this Christmas have been issued a warning about petrol prices. Motorists zipping to and from the festive period will be paying a hefty price for petrol.
In fact, filling up with petrol costs £16 more than last Christmas. It comes months after a petrol crisis nationwide, which saw huge queues develop amid a massive demand for fuel.
Howard Cox, of FairFuelUK, told the Sun newspaper "scandalous prices generated by greedy wholesalers and fuel brokers" are to blame.
