The fan tumbled after he was accidentally struck by a shot from Peter Uihlein.The American miscued his shot left and signalled to those in attendance that the ball had not gone where he had intended.
As a group of spectators rushed to get out of the danger zone, unfortunately one man was caught in the firing line, who first fell to his knees, then on to his back.Uihlein put his hand on his head in shock as other concerned fans enquired over his wellbeing.
The fan was rolled over and thankfully remained conscious and the world number 327 later met the supporter and embraced him before giving him a souvenir - his signed golf glove.The player and the fan were also seen laughing together.
