Glastonbury Festival has given audiences some of music's most unexpected moments in the past 52 years.Since the iconic music event began in 1970, the world's biggest stars have graced its stages - and provided many moments that have made us laugh, cry and at times, even shocked us.Some of those moments have begun even before the Worthy Farm festival opened its gates, with musicians embroiled in a war of words over billed headline slots.With the eyes of the world on Glastonbury Festival as it gets underway this weekend (June 24-26), Daily Star looks at some of the event's most unexpected moments.Glastonbury might be one of the world's most iconic festivals, but in 1970, the new event made its name with a headline set from glam rock band T.Rex.However, the group were not originally supposed to play the main stage - with rock group The Kinks set to headline instead.When The Kinks dropped out at the last minute, T.Rex stepped up to replace them and made festival history in the process.Speaking to NME about the first ever Glastonbury, festival founder Michael Eavis recalled the group's set, saying it "remains one of the most memorable slots ever at the festival."Adele delivered a knockout performance at Glastonbury in 2016, rolling through hit after hit including Hello and Rolling In The Deep.However, the singer shocked everyone after dropping a series of F-bombs throughout her set.This didn't deter viewers or fans though, who relished every moment of her set - some of who were even brought up onstage by the singer in once in a lifetime moments - while others were left in tears by her powerful performances.Jay-Z's 2008 Glastonbury headline slot delighted festival goers - but not everyone was pleased when the rapper was.
