In the Netflix series, one of those royals is Princess Anne, played by Erin Doherty, and it is not always a glowing reception to how Diana is received in comparison to herself.
In the fourth episode of season 4 entitled Favourites, Anne complains of the media to her mother The Queen, played by Olivia Colman.
In the scene, Anne says: "They're so mean to me all the time. "I'm pretty low-key as you know, I don't want praise or attention or thanks, but I'm only human." Speaking of her charity work, Anne bemoans not "getting a mention in any newspaper or a thank you".
