Urgent police appeal for missing schoolboy who hasn't been seen for over a week

Darren Anderson hasn't been seen since the morning of Wednesday 21 July, police said. The force say they are concerned for his whereabouts. Read more:Man in life-threatening condition after being hit by car The youngster is thought to frequently visit Manchester City Centre, Stretford and the Gorse Hill areas.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts have been urged to contact police immediately. Police have released a photograph of Darren in his school uniform in the hope that someone may recognise him.
