grumpy cat has reassured millions of fans after a post was shared confirming both the cat and owner were safe.The Instagram-famous cat, Stepan, escaped Ukraine after Russian forces invaded and is currently safe and sound in France.The 13-year-old cat and owner Anna made it out of the Russian-bombed city of Kharkiv in Ukraine and found refuge in France, updating fans who were worried the pair had been killed in the bombing.But after two weeks of silence in March, the @loveyoustepan Instagram account received an update confirming the pair were safe and sound having left Ukraine.Fans were worried the pair had been injured or even killed by attacks on Kharkariv with the pair living in Ukraine's second-largest city.Kharkariv has been subject to countless bombing runs since the end of February, and fans were fearful for the lives of Anna and pussycat Stepan.Anna took to Instagram this week to reassure followers that she and Stepan were safe and sound, having found refuge in France after leaving the Ukraine.Stepan's owner Anna shared a photo of the cat looking scared in a travel bag on a train, accompanied by a caption explaining their gruelling journey from Ukraine.She wrote: "On February 24, early in the morning, we were sleeping at home.

At 5am, some explosion was heard, and I didn't even understand what it was."After half an hour later, there were more explosions, the windows trembled.

I jumped up and understood that something terrible was happening!"She continued: ""The attack and shelling of Kharkiv (especially on the North Saltovka where we live).
