Britain is set to be battered by winds of up 60mph, as well as thundery showers and temperatures below 10C as 'autumnal' June continues.
The Met Office has warned average June temperatures of around 20C or more are unlikely to return until the end of the month.
BBC forecaster Stav Danaos said low pressure will "dominate our weather pattern" over the next few days, meaning "it's going to end up feeling more like autumn for a while".
While parts of Scotland will struggle to reach double figures over the weekend, with "winterness over the Scottish mountains".
