BBC Weather forecast reveals that the five-day heatwave will begin on Sunday and last until Thursday next week.It comes after May was set t become one of the wettest on record due to the higher than average rainfall pouring onto the UK.After the washout beginning of the month, the final days are set to go out with a bang with the mercury predicted to range between 22C and 24C.Sunday (May 30) will see 22C for London, followed by 23C on the Bank Holiday Monday, and will continue to rise by 1C each day, sitting at 24C for Wednesday and Thursday next week.There is also no threat of strong winds bringing the temperature down, with the general forecast being 'sunny with a gentle breeze' over the five days.BBC Weather meteorologist Stav Danaos
