Britain is set to bake in a 25C heat surge thanks to a plume of hot air from Spain as one of the hottest days of the year approaches.
The scorching hot conditions have broken records in mainland Europe for this time of year, and now the UK is finally getting involved.
As a result, Brits could enjoy the hottest temperatures here for nearly a month tomorrow, only just falling short of the 26C 2020 high felt in Cornwall on April 10.
Referring to today, BBC forecaster Stav Danaos said: "There will be quite a lot of sunshine around and a warmer day to come with highs of 22 or 23 degrees across the south." He went on to say, it's a "similar story" for Friday when southern and central areas could see highs of 23-25C.
