golf star Tyrrell Hatton caused quite a stir after letting out a foul-mouthed rant on the third green at The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.

Hatton is playing alongside some of the world’s best this week in the event that is often considered golf’s ‘fifth major’ on the PGA Tour. The Englishman and the rest of the field have however had to endure a disjointed week, after adverse weather conditions in Florida caused havoc with the tournament schedule. As a result, the event was scheduled to finish on Sunday.

However, weather delays have led to it being delayed until Monday, with players having to play two separate rounds of golf on one day throughout the week.Sunday saw a whole host of the field complete their second round, before those who made the cut immediately headed back out for their third, which eventually finished on Monday morning. The tricky conditions had made scoring tough for some of the world’s best, with birdies across the weekend seemingly hard to come by.Therefore, when Hatton saw a chance at the par three third agonisingly slip by the Englishman was unable to hide his frustration, to the amusement of many while some saw it as bad etiquette. What is the worst reaction you've ever seen on the golf course?

Let us know in the comments section. Following his missed putt, golf fans overheard the world No 16 scream out: “Are you f****** kidding me?”Hatton’s cry was well picked up by the TV microphones covering the event, and forced the Sky Sports commentary team to quickly apologise. One quickly commented: “Well… apologies for his language there after that miss…”Despite the miss, the Englishman went on to card an impressive three-under par 69 in his two-day crossover third round, which left him four-under for.
