Three Celtic fans arrested for 'using glue and expanding foam' on entrances to Ibrox

Celtic fans have been arrested for allegedly trying to stop Rangers supporters from gaining access to Ibrox by using glue and expanding foam on the stadium's entrances.

It is claimed the incident took place in the early hours of Sunday morning ahead of the Scottish Premiership rivals' colossal Old Firm match-up.

Police Scotland have confirmed that three men have been arrested and charged in connection with an incident that took place at around 2.30am.

Enquiries are still ongoing, but Police Scotland have released a statement which says: "Police responded around 2.45am on Sunday, 3 April, 2022 following vandalism at Ibrox Stadium, Govan."Officers attended and three men aged 18, 22 and 25 have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
