Two men are in hospital following reports of a stabbing in south Manchester. Police shut Wilmslow Road - at the junction of Walmer Street - in Rusholme at around 4.30pm.

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. A staff member at a nearby restaurant said they saw somebody being tended to by paramedics.
