Lokomotiv Moscow have announced that Lars Kornetka will not join Ralf Rangnick's coaching staff at Manchester United. United confirmed Rangick's interim appointment - an initial six months on the touchline to be followed by two years spent in a consultancy role - on Monday but it's anticipated that Reds' current coaching staff will remain after the German's arrival.
Club sources have indicated Rangnick could be joined by some of his own staff members but there will be no imminent departures.
But Konertka, who has been described by Rangnick as 'the best video analyst we have in Germany', won't be joining United. Ralf Rangnick is in line to take over the Manchester United hotseat after the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
