DC Films, the studio that is behind the DC Comics movies, has announced that two previously planned movies will not be moving forward.
The news comes just one week after the CEO of WarnerMedia confirmed that the “Snyder-verse” has officially ended after the release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, closing the door for the beloved filmmaker to continue his franchise.
Now, two more beloved filmmakers who were scheduled to work on DC movies are no longer making those films. Click inside to learn more details… Ava DuVernay‘s New Gods adaptation and James Wan‘s The Trench adaptation have both been canceled by Warner Bros.
New Gods, which was being written by Tom King, was set to follow the “Fourth World” characters, including Darkseid.
