Chatting with Closer magazine, he unveiled one of the final occasions that Simon and Liam spent time together: 'We are devastated.
I feel for Simon, too. "He met with Liam a few months ago, when Liam took Bear to see him at his Cotswold mansion, and Bear played with his son, Eric".
While Tony admitted that the rest of the former boy band had distanced themselves from the music mogul over the years, he said: "Liam was determined to gain Simon's approval [on The X Factor].
