Pictures have emerged of Kate Cassidy, 25, buying two bags of dog food with her rescue pup Nala in Florida a week after her boyfriend Liam Payne 's heartbreaking death at the age of 31.The model, who is from the US, was photographed looking downcast as she was leaving Jake's pet supplies.

The adorable dog was understood to be doted on by Liam, who previously described the encounter which led to the adoption with his fans.

Earlier this year, the former One Direction singer opened up about a heartwarming "meet and greet with a couple of dogs". After introducing Nala to his home, he said in a social media post: "I really love her.

She is so cute. She is a tiny new member of the family for a while. "We're going to foster her for a while and get her really nice for a loving family I think.
