ok.co.ukA close friend has reportedly told the New York Post about Kate Cassidy's time in Argentina, alleging that her experience with boyfriend Liam Payne to a "hostage situation".The 25 year old influencer, who jetted off to South America with the former One Direction star, originally planned a brief four-day getaway, but extended it to a fortnight.
While Liam was sorting his US visa, Kate was allegedly wanting to return Stateside. However, they claimed Liam was desperate for her to stay longer and, torn between her desire to return to the familiar comforts of home and caring for their dog, Kate found herself repeatedly postponing her trip.
They claimed: "She can't leave, or else who knows what will happen? And if she leaves, what will he do? But she has other responsibilities, other things that she's supposed to be doing.
So, she finally had to make a decision." The friend continued: "They're in Argentina and it's like a hostage situation. So she tells him she wants to leave, this is after a week.
