Stars of Wigan's past and present have heaped praise on Dom Manfredi after they confirmed his retirement from the sport. The winger confirmed that he would retire with immediate effect after a persisting knee injury resulted in medics advising him to hang up the boots.
Manfredi, just 27, had planned to retire at the end of the season, but has decided to call time on his career now after three knee reconstructions.
Despite that, Manfredi's influence will not be forgotten, with the speedster scoring a stack of memorable tries for the club during his time on the field, most notably scoring twice in the 2018 Grand Final victory.
