Alexander-Arnold instead flew out to Dubai, where he worked on his recovery at Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex.The Kop defender is still working on his own with Liverpool physios despite being back out on the grass at the club’s training ground this week.
He looks set to miss Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off against Watford at Anfield and the trip to Lisbon for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Benfica on Tuesday.Alexander-Arnold is still hoping he can be ready to face City next Sunday.
