A picture has emerged showing Tory aides enjoying a spread of food and wearing Christmas hats and jumpers at a party last December.
The Christmas party, which was thrown during tough Coronavirus restrictions last year, was held inside the party's Westminster HQ.
It shows 24 people crowded together, breaching both lockdown and social distancing rules, the Mirror exclusively reported earlier today. The event was organised by Tory Shaun Bailey’s mayoral campaign and took place on December 14 last year, when London was in Tier 2.
And after he was approached by the Mirror today, December 14, Mr Bailey quit as chair of the London Assembly’s police and crime committee.
