A Lanarkshire MSP is calling on politicians to make the 2021 Christmas the last where people have to go hungry.Labour’s Mark Griffin, who represents the Central Scotland regional list, is calling on parliamentarians to support Labour MSP Rhoda Grant’s ‘Right to Food’ bill, which would enshrine the right to food in Scots Law.The Trussell Trust reported that it has distributed some 84,555 food parcels to people in Scotland in the six months from April to September this year, including a shameful 29,989 distributed to children.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
