murder detective is being investigated over allegations he made a sexist speech at a colleague’s leaving do. Detective Chief Inspector Kevin Jamieson is accused of inappropriate comments about the clothes worn by the female officer and a yeast infection.Jamieson has worked on several high-profile cases but could now find his career under threat over the complaint which centres on sexist and demeaning remarks he allegedly made.He could face a charge of gross misconduct and has been notified of the investigation.One source compared the speech with the kind of comments heard on police drama Life on Mars, starring Philip Glenister as an 80s cop with a line in dodgy humour.It is understood Jamieson, who was part of the Major Investigation.
