During the latest episode of the NBC sketch comedy series on Saturday (March 5), the show put on a sketch of the hit Netflix series with cast member Chloe Fineman giving a spot-on impersonation of Anna Delvey. In the sketch, Chloe decides to embrace her inner Anna, wearing oversized, black-framed glasses, dressing in expensive clothes, and speaking with a bizarre accident as tries to spice up backstage at SNL. “We need something more exclusive.
More VIP. Like Nobu,” Chloe says when she sees one of her co-stars eating chips in the breakroom. Chloe then goes around telling people she owes money that she’s going “wire it” to them before going up to host Oscar Isaac telling him looks “poor.” However, with her German-Russian hybrid accent, Oscar has a very hard time trying to understand what Chloe‘s saying.
The sketch ends with Kate McKinnon going up to Chloe and saying, “I can’t help but notice you’ve been Delvy-ing everyone today.” Chloe apologizes and takes off her glasses, giving them to Kate, who puts them on and says, “There can only be one Delvey around here.”
