Tilda Swinton strikes a pose ahead of a special screening of Derek Jarman‘s The Garden held during BFI Southbank on (March 12) in London, England.
The 59-year-old Oscar-winning actress hosted the screening of her 1990 film to help raise awareness of the campaign to save Prospect Cottage.
BFI Southbank’s season was programmed in partnership with the performer and filmmaker herself, and will run from 1 – 18 March 2020, celebrating the extraordinary, convention-defying career of one of cinema’s finest and most deft chameleons.
The Prospect Cottage is the former home of visionary British filmmaker and activist Derek Jarman. Tilda, who was the influential director’s muse, is part of a group of artists supporting the campaign, according to CNN.
