Thousands of partygoers cram into Wuhan water park for massive post-lockdown pool party

mirror.co.ukRevellers have been pictured crammed together at a massive pool party in the former world coronavirus epicentre of Wuhan. Huge crowds rubbed shoulders at a water park in the city in China's Hubei province where the Covid-19 outbreak began in December.
The party at Wuhan Maya Beach Water Park included a DJ, and pool games as revellers swum and partied with inflatables. There was little sign of social distancing at the rammed event - after around three months without a single new case of domestically-transmitted coronavirus in Wuhan.
The city of 11 million had the first outbreak of the virus which has spread around the world, sparking the pandemic with a death toll that has now topped 767,000.
