The snake, which was over two metres long, was filmed swimming through shallow water before being caught by staff from the South African Association for Marine Biological Research (SAAMB).In a Facebook Post, the SAAMB confirmed the black mamba sighting on Durban beach, South Africa.After being bitten by black mambas, the venom can cause dizziness and intense pain and within seven to 15 hours can be fatal unless anti-venom is administered.The SAAMB said the report shocked the centre, which claimed people usually see.
