Police closed off Roscoe Road, in Irlam, last Tuesday (April 20) after a sinkhole emerged at the junction with Francis Road.
Since then, barriers have been placed around the sinkhole and traffic is unable to use the junction, but vehicles are still driving past the sinkhole.
And in the eight days that have followed, the sinkhole has grown in size - causing grave concern for Marcus Graham, 45, who lives opposite the sinkhole.
